Job Summary:
As a Solution Sales Representative, you will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities. You will build relationships with prospective clients, understand their unique needs, present our solutions in a consultative capacity, and determine if they fit the potential customer. This role requires a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent communication skills, and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, online research, and attending industry events.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' business challenges and requirements.
- Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product demonstrations showcasing the features and benefits of our hardware and software solutions.
- Proposal Development: Create and present customized proposals that address each client's specific needs.
- Closing Deals: Negotiate contracts and close deals, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Effectively manage your sales pipeline, tracking leads and forecasting sales activity.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
- Reporting: Report on sales activities, progress, and results to the sales manager.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, implementation, and support, to ensure seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the software or technology industry.
- Experience selling POS software or related solutions is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software, Google Workplace Apps, and web applications.
- Knowledge of the retail industry, inventory concepts, and e-commerce is a plus.
